Pastry Cloth and Rolling Pin Cover


A Pastry cloth is a great timesaver when making cookies, shaping breads, or rolling out dough.  A small amount of flour is rubbed into the cloth, rather than putting lots of loose flour onto a countertop.  The result is that the dough is much easier to roll, it doesn't stick, and much less flour is needed.  Besides saving time, it makes breads, cookies, biscuits, etc. more tender and light.  A rolling pin cover usually comes with a pastry cloth, and it eliminates sticking while rolling.
